Games: 166 games for East Perth; 52 games for Geelong, and 60 games as captain coach of Hobart in the Tasmanian Football League. Played 13 state games for WA.

Premierships: Player in three states, East Perth 1956, 1958, 1959, Geelong 1963, Hobart 1966 (captain coach).

Honours: Simpson Medallist 1959, WA v SA; Represented WA in the 1958 Centenary Championships in Melbourne Represented Tasmania in the 1966 Australian Football Championships Outstanding career in radio and television sporting coverage for decades. A high-flyer and tough full-back who graduated from nearby Maylands to be an integral part of East Perth’s premiership era of the 1950s under master coach Jack Sheedy. He then followed illustrious teammate Graham Farmer to be part of Geelong’s 1963 premiership and later moved to Tasmania to coach the Hobart Football Club, for a premiership in 1966. On returning to Perth, Watts became a radio personality and pioneered many radio and television football shows.
