A Swan Districts wingman whose spectacular pace, clever ball handling and outstanding foot passing skills were rewarded with the 1935 Sandover Medal in a tie with Lou Daily. In six seasons with Swans, he was club champion three times before starring for Boulder City and twice winning the Goldfields league best and fairest award.
