One of many top Victorians who moved to WA at the turn of th century, Dolly Christie was the second player to reach 200 WAFL games.  The third oldest player in the history of the competition, his last game was chalked up a week before his 43rd birthday.  He started his senior football career with Ballarat at 16, then later joined VFA club Melbourne and regularly represented Victoria against SA.  In 1896, he joined the powerful Fremantle club and two years later, in April 1898, helped from the East Fremantle Football Club.
